With a burning vision for venture capital transformation, Kyang co-founded Coalition Capital.
Prior to his Coalition Capital journey, Kyang amassed 15 years of tech investment expertise.
He served as a Partner at Inkef, a prominent European venture capital firm. He also led M&A and minority investments at PayU, Prosus' fintech arm, across four continents.
Previously, Kyang thrived as a growth equity investor at HPE Growth Capital and began his career in finance as an investment banker in London and Hong Kong.
His track record spans seed-stage to IPO investments. He champions a hands-on and patient approach to investing, favoring founders tackling real-world problems. He prioritizes building resilient companies over valuations.
Key investments include Hawk, Sikoia, PPRO, ChannelEngine, Enfuce, CitrusPay (acquired by PayU), Sentinels AI (exited), Silverflow, Happeo, Urban Sports Club, Creditas, Withlocals, Polarsteps and many more.
Beyond finance, Kyang is on a never-ending quest to recapture his ITF juniors tennis glory, complete with a few hilariously awkward backhands along the way. At Inkef, he was affectionately known as "el Professor," lauded for his "clinical yet pragmatic approach," reminiscent of something straight out of a spy movie.
While juggling family and guiding founders, Kyang occasionally multitasks at the gym, sending emails from the leg curl machine.
